When booking a course, a contract is made when the booking is confirmed in writing by Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure). A deposit is payable at the time of booking. The person signing the booking form accepts responsibility for payment for everyone listed on the booking and is responsible for ensuring that all other persons listed on the booking form read the Terms and Conditions below and that they are aware of the booking details.

Balance payment

The balance is due three weeks before the course start date. If the booking is made less than three weeks before departure, the full balance must be paid at the time of booking. Final reminders will not be sent.

Changing your booking

Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) will make every effort to arrange any changes requested after the booking has been confirmed, providing it is more than 21 days before the course start date. After this time no changes can be made. Any changes are subject to availability of course places.

Course Participation, Liability and Other Important Information

The activities we provide carry with them a degree of risk both to people and property, even if enjoyed under proper supervision by qualified instructors. Some of our activities can be strenuous, and require that those taking part have a reasonable standard of fitness. All course members must therefore make us aware of any medical conditions , illnesses or allergies they may have and any prescribed medication they are taking prior to commencement of the activity. No-one should participate if they have a medical condition for example being pregnant. It is down to the participant with a medical condition to check with his or her GP to find out if the activities they will be participating in are within the customers physical and/or mental parameters.

All course members must under no circumstance be under the influence of any alcohol, drugs or medication at the time of the lesson which may adversely affect their physical abilities.

All course members must agree to abide to all instructions and decisions that Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) and its instructors make in order to secure the safety and comfort of all participants. Course members will have the use of Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) equipment during their lessons. Whereas Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and good condition of that equipment, course members are responsible for immediately reporting any damage caused to the equipment or which becomes apparent whilst the equipment is in their possession. Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) does not seek to limit or exclude any liability for personal injury or loss of life which may occur as a result of its own negligence or that of its employees, however, Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of its own or its employees. All other liability or conditions implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent possible.

Weather conditions

In the rare event that Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) considers sea/weather conditions to be unsuitable for instruction, course members will be offered another suitable activity. Alternatively, course members will be offered a credit voucher for the activity and offered alternative dates. No refunds are issued.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be sent in writing and will be effective on the date which they are received by Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure). Deposits will not be refunded under any circumstances. Cancellations made within 7 days of the commencement of a course will not receive a refund - alternative dates may or may not be offered depending on circumstances.

On-site Accommodation

All accommodation at Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) is checked for damage prior to commencement of any course. If you suspect there is any damage to your accommodation on arrival, this must be reported to reception immediately. Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) reserves the right to take Credit card details from visiting groups as a deposit for damage/breakages.

Off-site Accommodation

All groups staying at alternative venus, arranged by Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) are expected to abide by the terms and conditions of that particular venue. Again, Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) reserves the right to take Credit card details from visiting groups as a deposit for damage/breakages.

Literature and website accuracy

The tariffs printed on this website/form are valid at the time of publication. Octopus Uk LTD (Morfa Bay Adventure) reserves the right to increase or reduce any of these prices any time after publication. Any changes will be made clear at the time of booking.
